Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
This policy explains what information this website collects, why it is collected and how it is handled. It applies to farbetterstay.com and to enquiries sent through the forms on this site.
Information we collect
When you submit a form, we receive only what you type into it: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, destination or property of interest, travel dates, number of travelers, budget range, occasion, preferred way to be contacted and message. Nothing on this site asks for payment-card details, passport numbers or other sensitive identifiers.
Form submissions are delivered by a third-party form service (for example Formspree), which passes your message to our inbox and keeps a copy in its own systems under its own privacy policy. Until that service is connected, the forms on this site submit nowhere and nothing leaves your browser.
Standard server logs kept by the hosting provider may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used for security and reliability only.
How your information is used
Your details are used to answer your request: to prepare a quote, to recommend properties, to make and manage a reservation on your behalf, and to support you before, during and after your stay. If you become a client, the information necessary to complete a booking is shared with Fora Travel, Inc. and with the hotel or booking platform handling your reservation.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share what you type into a form with advertisers or data brokers. If — and only if — you accept advertising cookies, Google, Meta or TikTok receive limited usage data (such as the fact that a visit or an enquiry happened) to measure advertising. Some state laws call this "sharing"; you can withdraw at any time via Cookie Preferences, or automatically via the Global Privacy Control signal. We will only email you about your own enquiry unless you separately ask to receive occasional travel notes.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site sets no cookies of its own. Where measurement is enabled, it may use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure the results of advertising, and — when those channels are in use — a Meta Pixel and a TikTok Pixel for the same purpose on those platforms. Each of these tools sets its own cookies or similar identifiers and processes data under its provider's privacy policy. If live chat is switched on, the chat provider also stores an identifier so a conversation can be continued across visits.
None of these scripts load until you allow them. A banner appears on your first visit, and nothing beyond the pages themselves is requested while it is waiting for an answer. Google Consent Mode v2 is used, so analytics storage, advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation all start in a denied state and are only granted after you choose Accept. Choosing Decline loads nothing at all. Your answer is remembered in this browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, together with the date and whether your browser was sending a privacy signal at the time.
You can change your mind at any time: use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer to bring the banner back, or clear site data for this domain in your browser. Withdrawing a consent you had previously given takes effect immediately — the denial is signalled to Google and the page reloads, so that the scripts allowed by the earlier choice stop running rather than continuing until your next visit.
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, that is treated as a refusal: the banner is not shown and nothing loads. You can still overrule your own browser by choosing Accept while the signal is on, and that choice is remembered. If instead you turn Global Privacy Control on after having accepted, we treat the earlier consent as no longer valid — nothing is loaded, and the banner returns so you can answer again.
Performance analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first measurement tool that does not track individuals across sites and sets no cookies. It runs independently of the advertising-cookie consent above.
Data retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet record-keeping obligations relating to bookings. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, except where a completed reservation requires them to be retained.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email the address below and we will action it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or the GDPR; those rights are honoured regardless of residency.
Third parties
Bookings are facilitated through Fora Travel, Inc., which maintains its own privacy policy governing information processed on its platforms. Hotels and booking platforms you are referred to also operate their own policies. Beyond the image CDN that delivers the photographs and the form service described above, the only other third-party services this site can load are the measurement and chat tools covered in "Cookies, analytics and advertising" — and those load only with your consent.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
